De retour

Back from an exciting week in Flanders, where I stayed in possibly the cutest, prettiest city ever : Bruges. Met leuke meijsjes, en mooie jongens (nice girls, gorgeous boys - I'm not even exagerating. I swear I've never seen so many hot boys in one school!! I want, need to go back there. Heee. My friends and I went totally hysteric. And when I say hysteric, I mean it. We even took (bad) paparazzi shots of them, when we didn't take a picture with them.) . I met a bunch of great people, had a lot of fun, and improved my dutch.
Anyone, if you ever get the chance to take part into an exchange program, don't think about it twice, just do it! It's the third time I do this kind of thing and it just makes me really happy.
ps : the crazy girl in the front with the red tote would be me.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you!!

I hope you enjoyed your gifts, but even more, enjoyed your eve/day. I sure did!
I'm feeling very Chritsmassy, what better way to enjoy Christmas than reading a book (Gossip Girl series is keeping me occupied) next to the fire eating tons and tons of delicious chocolates and candies!! (obvious consequence : jogging. Duh!)

So , since I've been tagged twice (by fabulous Jottings of a Fashionista and The Clothes Horse ) , I should really just do it.

1.) What's the story behind the name of your blog and your nickname?
Well I pretty much don't know why I've chosen Power Rangers Go as blogname. I just thought it sounded cool. HAH, whatever. I kind of explained it in my first post (Ze Manifesto ) . Go check it. As for Bojana, it's simply my name.
2.)Why did you start blogging in the first place?

Just like that. I had just discovered a few blogs and then just wanted to have my own, especially after reading Alex's "An Alien in NY" (now defunct BUT newborn Red Lipstick and Macaroons takes over). I've always loved fashion and had already created a few fashion magazines for myself and my entourage, and a blog just seemed like a cool thing to do. Plus, you get feedback from people who have the same interests as you!
3.) What has been your best blogging experience? What about the worst?

Best? Well every post I write and every posts I read from all the fabulous bloggers on here. The worst....??? None
4.) What do you think will happen to your blog in 2008?

Who knows?? We'll see :D

I'll leave you with this video. Elf is definitely my favorite Christmas movie. Seriously, isn't it hilarious? At least to me. Will Ferrel is hysteric. (Smiling is my favorite!) Again, Merry Christmas.

Yes, baby

That is me, mentionned in the latest N.E.E.T Magazine editor's note. I was a guest writer for the (supercalifracigalicous) online publication-magazine, reviewing Mooka Kinney's latest collection. (page 114)

Check it out!

Wooohooo!!
December's starting on a very good note. SMIIIILE

The unescapable tagging...

So I've been tagged too. Twice. So I guess I should just do it. Let's see....

1. Hi, my name is Bojana, I'm 16. I was born in what used to be Yugoslavia but went to live in Belgium because of the war when I was 2. I think it's interesting because I'm influenced by both cultures/mentalities so it gives a very eclectic weird mix known as...me. I love Yugoslavian's people humour and warmness. I think Serbian comedies are the best but you won't understand their humour unless you're serbian yourself...
I also think serbian girls are really hot. And that Novak Djokovic is very funny

2. I'm a very shy person in real-life, but not on stage. So I take part in musicals (even though I can't sing/dance/act hahahaa). Last year I did Moulin Rouge, and this year Grease. I'm also going to do it next year even though I don't know what's to be performed yet. Maybe Chicago?? Uhhh I'd love to. (
Grease Performance )

3. I'm quite nostalgic. I'm obsessed with the past. Especially fashion-wise. I draw my inspiration from past decades...I have an enormous fashion book with style from all periods and I love spending time just looking at the pictures. Decades I prefer are the roaring 20's and, you guessed it, 50's. But now I'm into Ancient Rome. When I was a kid I was obsessed with ancient times. I watched cartoons like Papyrus and my two big phases were Ancient Egypt and Ancient Rome. I read ton of books about those and I admired Cleopatra.

4. I don't look up to celebrities to find inspiration. But there is one exception, and it's Lily Allen. Even though I'm not a fan of her attitude, I have to say I adore her style. Ghetto bling with delightful tea-party dresses....I like her colorful makeup too and I just love her funky style.

5. I eat way too much. I love anything sweet, especially chocolate. Yesterday I tasted Macarons for the first time....no need to say I was delighted! Making me happy is not very difficult...I always scream of joy at sight of candies or anything else. But what I love the most during summer is definitely watermelon. I can eat up to 3kgs a day on my own...As you can see on the picture of my swollen belly post-watermelon (Hopefully it's just water heee).

6. I'm the clumsiest person ever. And I suck at sports, except tennis. Maybe because I've been practising for so long I can't even remember when I started. Dad (who taught me how to play) always says I could play very well if I practised more. But I'm a lazy ass. I regret I stopped ballet. I think ballet is beautiful and I'd die to see one once. I think that's why I'm unconsciously obsessed with ballet-movies (Save The Last Dance), painters (Degas) or anything that reminds me of it....
(ps : as you can see I got the same dress as Ivanovic wheeeeee)

7. I love : talking about myself (duuhhh), travelling (I'd die to visit India), procrastinating, summer, reading magazines, sitting in my garden and doing nothing for hours, One Tree Hill and the OC, blowing bubbles, riding bikes with friends, waterfights, my crazy grandpa , my grandma , shoes, dresses and skirts (I own about 40) , watching tennis rather than playing it because I'm a lazy ass, going to the sea with friends, laughing to tears, hugs, kisses, jumping in the air,Toulouse Lautrec and Gauguin, and you for reading this :D

Organized Chaos

I know you are very curious so here are a few pictures from our Grease performance. Needless to say it was so much more than fantasticofuckingfabulous and everybody got seriously mad, it was so dynamic and energy and life was all around us and of course in us... Needless to say also that I couldn't stop crying when it was over.
As I played Frenchie, I got to wear a blond wig because I had to look like a beautiful blond pineapple...(And I did, didn't I?) And look at the beautiful dress my mom sew me! Just as I wanted it.

Back to fashion now. I know it's been quite some time now, but I want to comment on the Costume Institute outfits. Late and you've read about it on tons of other fashion blogs, but who cares.

The Good : Kate Bosworth hit it, in my opinion. She looked very sexy yet elegant and sophisticated with that retro glamour. Camilla Belle looked very belle and definitely stunning. Christina Ricci was fresh and young and the neon pink lipstick makes everything. The Models : Black, Dark and all-out glam, look at me I'm hot young beautiful skinny fuck you where's my lighter.

The bad : MK looked like a fluffy anorexic black yeti, Rihanna was a black Posh dressed up as a dominatrix, Mischa's dress was about to fall and don't even get me started about Lindsay;Wrong, all over the place ("hey! Look at my new boobs! How hot right I know duhhh")

How Bojana Spends Her Sunday Mornings...

Studying is for dumb people ; procrastinating is for the intelligent ones.

Stressing about the exams is stupid ; playing with makeup is not.

Mistreating your little brother by throwing your stuff at him is for brainless cruel people ; by applying glittery stickers on him is for creative cruel people.

Michael Jackson circa the 80's is overrated ; Tom Tom Club and Donna Summer are underrated

Too Much Is Never Enough

This just seems like the perfect outfit for somebody as I-don't-want-people-NOT-to-notice-me as, in this case,me. And is there anything more appropriated for a (hotgreatprettybitchywitty) person respectively named Bojana, which,do not forget it, in serbo-croatian, means nothing less but "color"?

I want people to puke, laugh, scream, cry, admire, worship me when I walk out of my litlle house in the middle of nowhere full of ugly chavs sporting ugly Lacoste checkered caps and girls (who of course )cannot dress themselves) in shapeless hoodies and ugly embellished jeans

I want them to give me all their money, so they can do all of the above thanks to their money which will make me able to buy this and make them puke, die, laugh, scream and cry.

Okay, I'll stick it to the noticeable thing.

Boka The CobraSnake

Girl crush= One lenght auburn hair, heavy bangs, long blue leopard print hoodie, white tee, black skinnies and black flats.
Okay, next time I go to a concert, I'm bringing dad's camera+ my balls (much needed).

I felt like being raped by him.

Unfortunately, he did not feel like raping a young curly-haired groupie , also known as Boka, also known as me

Next time I won't wait for him to rape me, I'll rape him myself
